The Contra Costa Human Trafficking Coalition, in collaboration with Antioch Police Department and Antioch City Council Member Monica Wilson invite members of the community to come together during Human Trafficking Awareness Month to help spread information and resources on the issue of human trafficking throughout Antioch. 

Volunteers will meet at 2pm at the Antioch Police Department Community Room. A brief presentation will be given and volunteers will be given information packets to distribute to local business. The information packet will include:

- Local statistics and information on trafficking in California and our county
- A "Learn the Signs"" handout with common indicators and red flags for recognizing if someone may be a victim of human trafficking
- Poster with National Human Trafficking Hotline reporting information for a business to post in a prominent area.

The Coalition will identify ideal business centers, shopping malls or other similar complexes where distrubution will occur. Identified areas will be divided amongst volunteers and volunteers can coordinate travel to the identified locations amongst themselves with their own transportation.

Volunteers are also encouraged to visit other local businesses or locations that they believe would be willing to post this hlepful information.
